Mamagoto Has Got A Special Hawker's Menu & You Need To Try It Before It's Gone

Shortcut

Our favourite Asian restaurant, Mamagoto, has brought the street foods of Asia under one roof, as part of their Hawkers Hall Summer Menu.

As an homage to the hawkers of Thailand, the new menu at Mamagoto will have you reliving your Bangkok holiday. Head here in flip-flops, straw hats and a huge appetite! Start with the slightly strange but {strangely} delicious Thai Puchka Bites – betel leaf with peanuts, onion and lime and a sweet ginger sauce that acts as a saunth-substitute.

The Soft Shell Crab Tempura seasoned with coconut cream, peanuts, chilli and tamarind was absolutely delicious; don’t forget to order a side of the Aubergine and Okra Medley because veggies are good for you. To make it a meal, add Garlicky Rice Noodles with silken tofu and broccoli or chicken or shrimp. For vegetarians there’s a tropical treat, the Jungle Hula Hoop Curry made with Pineapple and Jackfruit cooked with Thai herbs, spices and coconut.

Love Bibimbap?

You could skip Thailand for Korea or do a mix of both – that’s the idea behind the menu! We loved the comforting Bibimbap and the hearty Lamb Bulgogi, with all the goodness of meat and rice. Speaking of rice, they also have street-style Rice Pancakes stuffed with minced chicken or mixed vegetables and served with an apple and mint sauce.

So, We're Saying...

Stay put and indulge in the foods from the streets of Thailand and Korea, head to your nearest Mamagoto for some hawker-inspired deliciousness!

The menu is available till Jul 22.
