Tasseled earrings, colourful kohlapuris and the best kind of dupattas; all of it reminds you of Janpath, doesn’t it? We found a little Janpath right here in Gurgaon. Women Who Care is a store in MG Road’s City Centre Mall that is stocked with everything amazing.

What Makes It Awesome

In a narrow section of MG Road’s City Centre Mall, we stumbled upon Women Who Care. It's a store that easily stands out with its beautiful chaand baalis sets, bright lamps and lehengas. They also have the most colourful kohlapuris, paintings made by the visually-impaired and have recently collaborated with a boutique in the same space.

While you can always get their ace masterjis to create well-fitted blouses, suits and lehengas (they can create one with your old saris too), you also have the option of renting clothes from them.

Have an old wedding lehenga or sari you don't wear anymore? Offer it to the folks at Women Who Care on a rental basis. These guys will give it to their customers for rent, and you can get a cut from the rental fee too.

What’s more? They offer accessories (think 92.5 silver polki sets, kundan earrings, gold drop earrings & more) on rent starting at just INR 50 and can even customise your jewellery in just two hours.

The best part? The shop was started by a group of lawyers who provide free legal aid to women from the sale of the products at the shop.

What Could Be Better

The store is slightly difficult to spot (a name plate/banner outside the store's lane entry might help).

Pro Tip

Women Who Care supports fashion students by offering jewellery and clothes on rent (for all their shoots) at ridiculously discounted rates. They also offer people a space to sell and showcase their items at the store.

Also, if you drop by the store between 9 to 11pm, you can buy any kind of jewellery for a flat rate of INR 350 only.
