Monoswezi is a collective of musicians whose members come from towns and nations spread across the world. And yet, they’ve found a newer cultural expression, a newer kind of music precisely because of these differences, and it has led to something astonishingly beautiful. They seek to combine their respect for musical tradition with modern Western music, and now, they’ll be performing in Delhi!
Their common passion lies in traditional African music, even though the members come from Mozambique, Norway, Sweden and Zimbabwe, and are based in Norway.
