Home and lifestyle brand Mora Taara houses everything from garden decor items, to lamps and wall art. Perfect for your vision of that elegant, put-together home.

Happy Home Decor

The literal translation of Mora Taara is ‘my star’ and this home decor store was named after founder Anu Kumar’s grandmother, Tara, who lived in a small village in Rajasthan. Anu’s time spent at her grandmother’s house influenced the aesthetic of this store which takes inspiration from village life—all of the colours, the homeliness and the flawed but beautiful items.

Originally retailing only decor pieces and furnishings, today Mora Taara operates within three other categories as well, namely  serving ware, gifting and fashion.

What's In Store?

There’s a large collection of products available at their store in Gurgaon, as well as online. Whether you’re looking at pot planters in a variety of materials {check out this chic lilac planter that will only set you back by INR 220!} or wall plates, like this vibrant peacock-printed one, to jazz up your rooms, you’ll be able to find it. There’s nothing uppity about the style or aesthetic; these pieces are for homes that are warm and friendly.

If you’re only going to buy one piece from Mora Taara, make it this colourful, hand-painted chest of drawers that’s surprisingly affordable!

Gift Shift

While you’re more than welcome to buy their items to do up your own house, they’re positioned mainly as a brand to bookmark for gifting. From quirky wall art, to spoon sets and hand-painted boxes, consider their pieces for housewarming, wedding or even anniversary presents.
