What Did You Like?

PechaKucha nights, a unique and informal storytelling platform, is coming to Aamchi Mumbai on June 16, 2018, at 91springboard, BKC.

What started out as a simple platform for creative people to come share their stories, has now turned into a global phenomenon that takes place in over a 1000 cities, the world over. What makes PechaKucha unlike any other event is the 20x20 format in which they work. Basically, each speaker has to tell their story through 20 pictures and they get 20 seconds per picture. Easy-peasy, right?

This informal event promises to bring people together to share their thoughts, ideas and stories over a few cold ones. This event is a must-attend for people who love discovering new talent, stories and ideas.

Our carefully curated set of speakers this time feature a bunch of super interesting people like Elita {Heart+Mind at NomadicThunker who writes and makes people write. She is also an avid international traveller at #HaveFeetWillTravel who has travelled the 29 states of mainland India before her 29th birthday}.

Another speaker is Esha Sridhar, the founder of The Plane Jar. She is a youth activism and outreach forum, and an LGBTQIA Activist. She is an eighteen-year-old survivor of child abuse with ever-changing hair colours and activism in her veins.

Some other speakers who will be contributing to the event are Kaushik Mukherjee {Co-founder, Fab Bag and Sugar Cosmetics. She is also one of the people who completed the Ironman Triathlon}, Astrid Rao {Co-founder of Nirvana Adventures and the boss lady at a purpose-built guesthouse that doubles up as a residential paragliding school as well}, Teena Kaur Pasricha {Independent film-maker, national award winner for best investigative film – 1984: When the Sun didn't Rise and Winner of the Time Warner Fellowship for her first feature film screenplay 'The Red Autumn'}.

Even Dedeepya Reddy {founder of Chal Rang De, a non-profit organization on a mission to make Bombay gorgeous again and Co-founder of Fruitbowl Media} and Munaf Kapadia {founder of The Bohri Kitchen, the guy who gave up Google to sell samosas} will be a part of the event.
