What Makes It Awesome?

A few friends of mine have used Artisan Palate's salts in the past to marinate meats for barbeques. And though all I've done is eat the result of an Artisan Palate pink-salt-laden chicken breast, grilled to perfection by my more capable friends, I can tell you that turned out delicious. I rediscovered them at a Farmer's Market I went for recently and found their collection of salts and natural sugars to be extensive and awesome.

They've got an array of Demerara sugars to choose from, including cinnamon and vanilla, lemon lime {I know!}, Salted caramel, and chilli chocolate to name a few. Their salts are excellent! I picked up their schezuan pepper chilli {great to add to grilled veggies}, Italian herbs & aged balsamic {sprinkle it over your pasta}, and used their himalayan pink salt to marinate chicken for a barbeque at my house {I got skills too}!

What's My Pro Tip?

Their salts are the perfect addition to the most basic of foods. Yellow/moong daal with a dash of their Schezwan pepper chilli turns out as the boss, FYI. Basically, go crazy with these salts - you won't be disappointed.

Also, a spoon of the vanilla Demerara in hot coffee is the most delightful way to start a day.

Anything Else?

They're priced pretty well! I paid about INR 150 to INR 200 for a jar of their salts and sugars.
