Hey you party throwers. Diwali is round the corner, and you've finally decided to throw a party, since no one else is. And there's things to be taken care of, but we'll only focus on helping with the food. All you G-towners, Grubbar Singh is one more home caterer you can add to your list for this season. So far only catering to Gurgaon, they hope to start Delhi operations in a few months. They have a vast menu including rolls, pita pockets, subs and hot dogs, but their main strength is their Indian meals. When we say Indian meals, we're talking about heavy duty kormas, Biryanis and curries cooked Old Delhi style {think Karims}. They don't have a minimum order pre requisite, but if you're looking for them to cater a small gathering, it'll be based on your proximity to their base kitchen. Food arrives packaged and clearly labeled, and the heating and service of it is on you. For home style, heavy Indian food aka this season's flavour, Grubbar Singh should be your new friend. They deliver up until 12am. Special shout out to their readymade party menus, designed for groups of 6; sure saves us the hassle of estimating how much food we need to order.

Asian Haus
We love Asian Haus for their professionalism, perfect packaging, and Pad Thai. Their consistent quality and reliable service means we've eaten through their whole menu, dish by dish. Which is why news of their updated menu is so exciting. We're sure the break neck socialising that comes with the Delhi winter will give us a chance to become familiar with the 10 fun, new dishes tacked on. The Thai Crunchy Salad is perfect for a detox lunch after a late night of cards. On the other hand, the intense Fire Cracker Chicken and vibrant Korean Spicy Lamb are lifesavers, for when you're faced with unexpected guests or impromptu after parties.

Pickwicks
Before Yellow Brick Road and Machan took over the 5 Star coffee shops for the win, there was Pickwicks, Claridges Hotel's very own coffee shop. They've introduced a brand new menu, redone all their food, and after having personally sampled some of it, we'll say this, they're worthy contenders. They're sticking to traditional coffee shop curation, and have included salads, sandwiches, wraps, mains, and desserts in Continental, Indian and Asian cuisine. Ditch the late night ventures, Pickwicks deserves a tasting when you're lucid and can appreciate the perfect pink salmon, gorgeous Miso marinated Black Cod, and the Singaporean Laksa.
