Much talked about designer home ware brand Safomasi just launched a brand new collection, and we like and want to lie in what we see. The collection is said to be inspired by sketches and memories from Japan, and the heavy oriental influence is evident in colours, patterns and prints. The new Kawaii Collection attempts to capture both the traditional, and crazy and colourful side of the country, but we can guarantee there's no Hello Kitty or Hentai inspired caricatures. Colour palettes mostly range from cobalt blue, black, white, mustard, and red, where prints are reminiscent of Japanese gardens, traditional textile patterns, groomed dogs {you know how the Japanese like their dogs}, sumo wrestlers, and cherry blossoms. Biggest stand out, and perhaps shot out to its inspiration, the biggest guest in photographs from the orient - the peace sign {done with two fingers}. There's a bunch of eclectic, different and kitchsy patterns to choose from, all available in a range of handprinted and handmade quilts, cushion covers, napkins, placemats, tea towels and pouches.

Where: Shop them online here. For regular updates and new collection launches, follow them on Facebook here.

Price: Starts from INR 1200 for pouches, INR 1300 for cushions and INR 6000 for quilts

Nappa Dori |

We're going to assume we weren't the only ones wishing Nappa Dori would do more stationery {just after more backpacks}, every time we walked into their store. They brought the backpack back, and whoever their messenger is deserves an award, because now there's stationery. They've just introduced a line of stellar stationery products, you know the variety you don't really ever want to write in? Choose from regular tan, almost wooden look alike notebooks, or the Nappa Dori classic logbooks with some front and center branding. We're already not writing in the multifunction leather journals, available in a tan and slightly darker brown, with a leather pouch {visiting cards fit} and a sleek pen holder on the cover. Although we won't be writing, the pen holder is super convenient, since we keep losing pens. Not sure if it counts as stationery, but the leather card {playing cards} case is divine, for now and every Diwali or poker session. What are you waiting for, you're going to need something to write in soon enough.

Where: Shop them online here, or visit them at Shop no 25 Meherchand Market, or at Hauz Khas Village.

Price: Starts at INR 195
