Golcha’s reputation as one of the few and finest cinema halls in the city might have taken a hit over the years, but the eateries that had sprung up around it in its hayday are still going strong. New Standard, our go-to joint for faluda in the city, is one of them, and we nudge you to go pay them a visit now!

Rabri Faluda, Kulfi Faluda
Faluda Nights
Our fondest memories of the place consist of a dinner at one of the nearby restaurants and topping it off with a glass of their creamy rabri faluda. Don’t get us wrong, though; nostalgia isn’t the only factor to their credit.
Their rabri, homemade and still as delicious as it has ever been, is still objectively one of the best we’ve eaten in the city. Everything they make it with, from the sugar syrup to the faluda to the rabri, is a homemade and original concoction, and we’re happy to say that it still tastes like it used to ten years ago.
Anything Else?
There are plenty of places nearby to make your visit worthwhile. Chomp on Delhi Gate’s famous bread pakora, pav bhaji and fruit ice cream on Ansari Road or a good ol’ Mughlai meal at Chicken Changezi.

While parking isn’t really an issue {just park across the road on Ansari Road}, it might be if you visit on weekends or during peak hours.
