Socialise, Drink & Work All At One Place: Office Canteen & Bar

The newly-opened Office Canteen & Bar in CP is a place you’d primarily go to for its ambience but believe us, you’ll end up eating till you’re ready to explode.

The Canteen

The food leaves you contemplating whether you should break all fixed deposits and never stop eating. They’ve got some really unique dishes. And you might have break them to if you do decide to, because it’s not exactly a budget place.

Take the M&M Murgh for instance, or maybe the Harrissa Chicken Skewers. As a snack the Uncle Chips Bruschetta was insane; also give something called the Salli Mulaga Podi Soya a try in case you’re someone who’d rather munch grass than eat the way humans are meant to.

The Mahashian Da Breakfast was a reminder of home, served what we felt was the highlight of the meal – Biryani Omelette.

The Bar

Their signatures are absolutely amazing; WTF.. It’s Monday is a kiwi cocktail that is bloody tasty. The white wine used in the sangria we had was crisp enough, and the cocktail Medical Leave was less serious than its name. It was a fun drink.

However, you absolutely cannot miss the stunning Official Bachelor’s Club cocktail. It’s caramelised whiskey- nuff’ said.

The Office

This is the best bit; it’s a two-storey place, with a quaint, dim ambience on the first and a terrace on the second, painted with logos from the early 90s. It preserves some of the old millennium spirit, and we love a place that has it’s own identity.

So, We're Saying...

It’s great for catching up with old friends, it’s great for a bite and it’s great for a date too, maybe. You’ll really feel like you can work here without being yelled at by your seniors. You won’t get any work done, though. You’ll be too drunk on caramel and whiskey before you start. And you will, come back. You just will.
