No big fat Indian meal is complete without a bottle of achaar and some finger-licking. #Guilty! Whether it's jazzing up boring khichdi, pairing it with butter paratha or adding some spice to dal chawal, just a spoonful of this is enough to take our boring khana up a notch to a lip-smacking degree.
Being a crazy achaar lover myself, I almost jumped from excitement and happiness when I discovered Pickly. And guys, their Instagram is on fire. Really! Expect pop culture, cool graphics and funky slogans. Brownie points for marrying decades-old recipes with cool creatives and making it approachable for digital junkies like you and me. Now, let's dive deep into their spicy and tangy pickles. A lockdown baby, Pickly (an entirely women-led enterprise) was started with the objective of bringing back the original taste and flavour we cherished from our dadi or nani's achaar. Hence, they're surely on a mission to mix up those memories with the finest ingredients, processed at home and in cold-pressed mustard oil. Their flavours range from classic nimbu and mango to mushroom and lotus stem. Apart from these, you can also expect flavours like Rajasthani kairi, karonde and green chilli or jackfruit. Not a fan of oily pickles? Well, they've got an entire range for zero-oil pickles too. So opt for any of these flavours (minus the oil). Pickles are manufactured in small batches to ensure that they are delivered to you fresh.
And, they've got super cute packaging as well. Tiny jars wrapped with cute prints and designs. Bonus: these can be re-used as well (yay!). You can also order in for their combos which come in five and three jars.
Their pricing starts from INR 225 for 200 gm.
