Oz Haat Mela Is Winning For Barbecue, Wine, Handicrafts & Fun Activities

What Is It?

The annual charity mela organised by the Australian High Commission, that we all know as the Oz Haat Mela, is back on Dec 3.

So if a family outing is on the cards, we’d love to see you browse through handmade products {several NGOs will bring out their stuff}, pig out on authentic Aussie food and let the kids have a go at the bouncy castle.

Those who are crazy about art and crafts or handmade jewellery, pottery et al will have a whale of a time, we promise.

We’re also going to call out to all the parents who don’t mind a casual day of walking out in the sunny lawns while their children enjoy magic shows and more.

Why Should I Go For It?

Delhi’s outdoor weather is short-lived and you’d be silly not to make the most of it.

Also, like we said, there are plenty of products like tribal art, pottery, textiles, home decor, jewellery and more on sale {just remember to carry an extra shopping bag though} along with interesting hands-on workshops like drum lessons and crochet classes.

But you know us, we are mainly excited about the classic Aussie barbecue and bar {dying to try out their wines}.

Anything else?

Entry is free but bring a valid photo ID if you want to get in. Parking is available at Nehru Park, Ashoka Hotel or Malcha Marg.

Follow their event here.
