What Makes It Awesome

ICYMI, Rustom's Parsi Bhonu shifted location from Adchini to ITO recently. Nestled in a quiet, gated community, the "new" Rustom's continues to be adorable and cosy, while adding a couple of new winners to their menu- including an epic Parsi thali.

I love the ambience! Decor details- from carrom-boards as table tops, to old school Parle toffee boxes as bill boxes- are super cute without being gimmicky; the music {retro songs} add the right amount of nostalgia, and the service is excellent.

The spotlight, of course, is the food. I'd recommend the Prawn kebabs as a starter, and jumping straight to the thalis. My friend and I tried the vegetarian and the fish thali, both of which were fantastic. Each thali comes with Parsi Dal {which now is my favourite kind of dal}, a coconut milk based curry dish, achaar, Parsi roti, rice, Parsi-style steamed fish or a soya patty {depending on which thali you order}, and salad.

Sip on their green teas, and end your meal with a lagan nu custard.

What's My Pro Tip?

Parking is plenty, so feel free to take your car. The area it's located in is really interesting/cool. There's a Parsi fire temple, and the building is a guest-house for {pre-dominantly} Parsis travelling to Delhi. They have a super cute dog called Rufus who stays in the building as well.

Anything Else?

Parsi food is filling! So go on an empty stomach.
