If you’ve been craving something porcine, practice saying “Oink Oink”, with your mouth full, because that’s the only thing you will be capable of when Chef Gresham Fernandes stuffs you with all kinds of pork goodies!

Launched in Mumbai in 2011, Swine Dine nights are finally here in Delhi, after a long, long wait. The twelve-course meal is served up in a Chef’s-Table-meets-Community-Feast setting, amidst an air of warmth and easy camaraderie at Smoke House Deli, Hauz Khas Village. Each edition can be expected to have a brand new, specially designed menu that pimps out pork in every manner imaginable.

The piggy line-up at the very first Swine Dine night in Delhi was eclectic, drawing from different cuisines and throwing in a lot of Indian flavour. The stellar items on the menu were the Forbidden Fruit {crisp green apple hollowed out and filled with pork & chicken liver pate}, the Pork Chilli Fry on grilled Sourdough with Lime and Coriander, Chorizo Baida Roti, and the Crispy Pork Salad. Washing these down with endless Old Fashions, we were thoroughly stuffed. Yes, like sausages.

Pork lovers in Delhi can now look forward to many more editions of Swine Dine; a 12 course piggy meal and endless cocktails and beer to wash it all down. All you have to do is stay tuned to the Swine Dine Facebook Page and sign up for the next edition.

Happy Pigging. Oink Oink!
