Founded by Milind Soman and Reema Sanghvi, India’s Biggest Women’s Run—Pinkathon is back on September 23. If you’ve always wanted to run a marathon, this is probably the best one to start with. For the uninitiated, Pinkathon is a pan India project that was started with the objective of spreading awareness about women’s health (particularly about breast cancer) and to motivate them to lead to healthier lives.
As part of this women-only running event, one can participate in categories like 21km, 10km, 5km and 3km races. All women who complete the race will receive finisher medals, an online certificate with participation and timing, and a free medical check-up from Apollo Foundation.
