What is it?
India’s largest five-a-side football tournament, India Football Tour will take place across eight cities, with around 256 participating teams. Each city will host a qualifying tournament, with the winner of each tournament qualifying for the Tour Finale finals {which will be held in Goa!}.
Who is it for?
Amateur footballers of course, sports enthusiasts looking to try something new, and friends looking for fun activities to do together. If you’re looking to be crowned the best amateur footballers in the country, and boast about it to your friends, this is the event for you!
Why should I go for it?
The regional winners {city champions} will receive an all expenses paid trip to Goa for the finals, and home and away kits, training jerseys and gear bags.
The prize money for the final winners is a cool INR three lakhs. They will also receive an all expenses paid international trip, and qualification to the Indian qualifiers of the F5WC, the world’s largest five-a-side tournament {talk about incentives!}.
Anything else?
Registration for the Delhi leg of the event ends on February 24, so get your team in order and sign up quickly! The registration cost per team is INR 8,000, and make sure you carry valid government ID on the day of the tournament.
