Potluck, Colours & Tons Of Games: This Queer Holi Party In Lodhi Garden Sounds Really Fun!

The information in this post might be outdated

What Is It?

Every year, Harmless Hugs – a group that works towards empowering feminist groups and members of the LGBTQIA community  – hosts a fun Queer Holi party that has become a much-anticipated event within the community. Honestly, what’s not to love  about a massive party with colours, lots of interesting games and a potluck lunch, all set against the backdrop of the stunning Lodhi Garden?

The best part? The event’s open to everyone both within and outside the LGBTQIA community.

Who Is It For?

Love playing Holi? Think there aren’t enough events around town organised for those within the queer community? Think free events in Delhi that are actually really cool are even more rare? Harmless Hugs’ Queer Holi event is for you.

Why Should I Go For It?

Because this is a happy, fuss-free event that’s got all the simple pleasures of life – playing with colours, a potluck picnic {remember how much fun this used to be in school?}, a park like Lodhi Garden and games {think Tug Of War, Ad-Mad and more}.

Also, we know Holi’s not until March, but there’s no harm in attending a pre-party a little ahead, is there? Just a heads up; it’ll be a dry Holi {no water involved}, so a big plus for those who’re not a fan of water-Holi.

Plus, if you’re more than happy to make new friends and expand your circle, the Queer Holi event 2018 is just the party you need to attend.

Anything Else?

Be nice and make sure that you get organic colours and also something tasty for the potluck lunch. It’s an event hosted by the community and for the community, so wouldn’t it be nice if everyone did their part to ensure that it’s a good, happy party?

Check out the Facebook event page here.

When: Feb 25, 2pm onwards.

Where: Lodhi Garden {near Bada Gumbad}.

Entry: It’s freeee!
