Have you turned your photos into works of art yet? Prisma, a new app that transforms your photographs into artwork, is the talk of the app-town right now. Most of us being art lovers here, it just caught our fancy, and how {have you seen your Facebook feed recently, btw?}.

Inspired by the styles of famous artists like Van Gogh & Picasso, the app uses artificial intelligence and turns your photos into watercolour paintings, monochrome sketches and lots more. Even the names of the filters on the app range from Mosaic, The Scream {the famous Edvard Munch painting) and Paper Art.

How To Prisma

Here’s a handy step-by-step guide to getting in on the latest craze in town.

Step 1: Take a new picture/select a picture from your gallery

Step 2: Pick one of the 36 styles {our favorites? Mosaic, Dreams, Composition}

Step 3: Choose the intensity of the filter {0-100%}

Step 4: Save and share {or not; up to you, really}

Our photo team recently got their hands on it, and discovered the surreal side of Delhi’s oft-unnoticed monuments. Here are 10 popular places in Delhi, Prisma-ed!

So, what are you waiting for? Go try it out for yourselves. iPhone owners, you can download the app on the App Store. Android-ers, it’s coming soon {they’ve already released a beta version, so it won’t be long}.
