Cookies, Brownies & Macarons: There's A Rakhi Hamper For Everyone

The information in this post might be outdated

It’s that time of the year again when for a brief moment {by this we mean, some 30 seconds}, brothers and sisters stop squabbling and get together for the age-old tradition of rakhi tying. Sisters get money or gifts and everyone in the room gets sweets. Here’s where to order your fill from.

Bombaykery

One of our favourite dessert makers, Bombaykery is doing Rakhi hampers starting as low as INR 650 {a set of three dessert jars} to more elaborate ones like the oval box of 12 desserts of your choice for INR 1,300 or six desserts for INR 650. If you fear you need more than a day to devour the sweet treats, get the Dry Goodies Hamper {INR 1,600} which is a mix of biscottis, brownies, chocolate bars and some healthy granola thrown in for balance.

PS: You can add a Bro charm rakhi for an additional INR 300.

Sugarama

Sugarama’s keeping it simple this year with two hampers filled with an assortment of truffles, tea cakes, cookies, biscottis and of course, their signature macarons. Get a small one for INR 1,300 or a big one for INR 2,300.

Want to get your hands on their brownies or other desserts? Choose a box of two, four, six or eight.

Theos

Theos has more than 20 different hampers for you to choose from this Raksha Bandhan, starting at around INR 1,000. Choose from an assortment of cookies, cakes, brownies and even raspberry marshmallows! Their red velvet and chocolate desserts are stellar, so you might want to keep an eye out for these.

Chez Papillon

We’ve got our hearts set on their box of six brownies {INR 800} filled with M&M brownies, Red Velvet, Oreo, Walnut and two uber chocolaty ones. Or you could get a box comprising a mix of cookies and hand-made chocolates {make sure you get the pistachio truffle} for INR 925 or their dry goodies hamper which contains things like spiced chia seeds, trail mix, chocolates and more. This comes for INR 3,000.

Addicted - Freshly Baked

They had us at Espresso Chocolate shortbread. Choose from three kinds of hampers: A Little Bit Of Bread And Butter, A Little Bit Of Everything, Chocolate Bars or a Granola Sampler {for the fitness freaks}. These start at INR 1,200.

Georgia Dakota

Georgia Dakota are ace bakers and if you’re looking for baked goods which taste uh-mazing but don’t contain all the calories in the world, they’re perfect. For Rakhi, they’re doing boxes of mini cookies. A set of 23 will set you back by INR 480. A great deal for the quality you’re going to be getting!
