The information in this post might be outdated

What is It?

The Saree Wishlist is a celebration of the weavers and artisans of India. Expect an exquisite collection of handwoven sarees, fabrics and accessories. Feast your eyes on unique patterns and colours, soured directly from artisans, and add to your knowledge of the different weaves, styles and fabrics of sarees.

Who is It for?

Those looking to update their collection of ethnic wear can look forward to not just sarees but also suits, jewellery, bags and footwear.

Why Should I Go for It?

The collection of Banarasi, Chanderi, Kanjivaram, Patola, Uppada, Maheshwari, Paithani sarees and more is only available for one day! They even have Dhakai sarees all the way from Bangladesh! Make sure you carry that credit card; stuff can get expensive around here.

Anything Else?

Some of the sarees in this collection take up to one year to complete; some are woven with real gold and silver, while some are made of rare silks like the Muga. Some of these traditional arts like Jamdani are part of UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
