The dates for the fifth edition of The North East Festival have been announced and we’ve blocked our calendar.

From 3rd – 5th November this year, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts {IGNCA} in Janpath will be hosting one of the most sort after cultural fests that showcases the local food, art, apparel and basically, the best of everything North East.

More than 40 bands and artists like Papon, Zubeen Garg, Borkung Hrangkhawl {Tripura’s first rap artist}, Girish & The Chronicles among various other local bands will be performing at the North East Fest this year. And where there’s music, you need food and drinks which the organisers of the NE Fest realise, so you’ll find more than 30 food stalls offering authentic North Eastern dishes like Smoked Pork, Eromba, Bamboo Shoot Fry and more delicacies that we can’t seem to get enough of.

You can also shop for North Eastern handlooms and organic food products from Sikkim, watch local films and even a Manipuri Rasleela performance. There’s just so much to do, so gear up for a good, good time.

When: Nov 3 – 5; 12pm – 10pm

Where: IGNCA, Janpath

Entry: Free
