What Makes It Awesome

I hardly ever shop for Indian wear; but when your friends start getting married, things change. And when things change, my go-to for more traditional but cool Indian wear is Bageecha.

Located a few stores ahead of Sugarama {another gem in Shahpur Jat}, Bageecha has a stunning selection of Lehengas, Dupattas and sarees, in pastels and in bright colours. Though Sanjay Garg/Raw Mango are probably the ones that come to mind when you think of Chanderi silks, Bageecha sticks to being a little more traditional and classic, all the while delivering on beautifully crafted clothes. Their colours are everything. I especially love the pastel dupattas, which can be worn with a simple, understated suit.

What's My Pro Tip?

They're priced pretty reasonably, in my opinion. To be fair, I won't have the best benchmarks given how rarely I shop for Indian clothes. Lighter dupattas are at INR 10k upwards, I spotted a few Lehengas at INR 35k onwards, and the more elaborate and extravagant weaves can run about 3-5 times this price. Their staff is super nice and helpful!

Anything Else?

Their lehengas with contrasting dupattas are beautiful!
