A Ta Maison {ATM} has been around for a while; however, this erstwhile members-only club made itself open to non-members recently. Taking full advantage of the switch, I landed up at 7.30 pm for dinner to a quiet but utterly delightful ATM. The ambience is pleasant, service is excellent, and the highlight remains the food and drinks. Run by the folks behind PCO, you can obviously expect the drinks to be nothing less than fantastic. My family and I enjoyed their pomegranate margarita, old fashioned, and a glass of pinot grigio.
The menu wasn't what I expected, in a good way. I think ATM's previous gastronomical positioning was French food; this time around, I found burgers, baos, homemade pasta, an assortment of starters and a couple of other mains. We ordered their chorizo crepe, salmon crostini, and split a whole wheat pasta in pesto and a confit chicken leg. Everything was spot on - not too heavy, flavourful, and exactly the kind of food you want on a hot day. The home-made whole wheat pasta in pesto was a winner, as was the chorizo crepe!
