What Makes It Awesome

This enthralling café has been on my bucket list for quite a long time. From the turquoise coloured walls to the intricate white detailing, this beautifully curated and brightly lit café is a delight to the eye. The pristine interiors with huge windows allowing just enough light to come in makes it the perfect escape.

The menu is quite extensively dedicated to coffees and teas. After navigating through it, we ordered their Ivory Coast Mocha Coffee and Whiskey Barrel Coffee. While the former is a Devi Speciality Coffee and offers a rich dark chocolate taste that is a treat to your senses, the latter is prepared from coffee beans stored in whisky barrels that has a gentle aroma of whisky and is quite indulging. Next, we ordered their Spicy Avocado and Gardenia Roll from the sushi bar. Though not quite a sushi fan, I was completely swept off my feet. Served with wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy sauce, the dish was a spectacular amalgamation of exotic flavours and a rich taste. Thereafter, we ordered their thin crust pizza topped with artichokes, mushrooms, olives, and jalapenos. The pizza looked divine with all the flavours on point. It was crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the cheese just melted in the mouth, leaving an expression of contentment on our faces.

However, you don’t call it a day unless you indulge yourself in some sinful delicacies. The next we ate was not from the kitchen but the bakery. The Nutella Waffle with Nutella and whipped cream, garnished with caramelised nuts and king sugar looked captivating. The waffle was crisp and satisfying, however, it did not quite stand out for me.

The service at the cafe strikes a right balance of promptness and consideration. The staff was polite and courteous. With an impeccable setting and savoury dishes to offer, Café Tesu is a must-visit.
