Hang on to your hats, divas and fashionistas- the Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter ‘16 is right around the corner, with top-notch Indian designers, a few {welcome} surprises and a whole new venue to explore.
The Designer Deets
The five day showing of collections {with around 31 shows} brings us seasoned, constantly improving designers such as Pankaj & Nidhi, Bodice, Rina Dhaka, Love Birds and Anita Dongre. The newer players in the game are names such as Soltee by Sulakshana Monga. Varun Bahl will start off Fashion Week, taking reign of the opening show.
The Firsts!
What you’ve all been waiting for- what’s new this year? Well for one, there will be a show solely dedicated to accessories, with three designers bringing the bijoux. The other is menswear finally getting the attention it deserves with its own show! One show, three designers. We’re stoked.
What We're Looking Forward To
We don’t know about you but we’re already eager to see what the Vogue Fashion Fund Winner ’15 Dhruv Kapoor is bringing to the table. We’re sure it’s going to be delightful, one way or another.
