The Bento Cafe in Noida for Bento Boxes & Fried Ice Cream

The Bento Cafe at the Mall of India food court offers a range of bento {set boxes comprising combo meals}, Japanese Yakitori, Thai curries, dim sums, noodle bowls and a delightful fried ice cream.

The Bento Cafe offers some pre-set bentos. You can alternatively opt to make your own. Start with choosing your Hero- this is the meat/vegetable done Japanese style, followed by the Base {rice or noodles}, the salad, the appetiser and the drink. We were thrilled to see tofu, crab, lamb, pork and even duck on their menu {at nominal prices}.

Pairing your bento with a Yakitori {we liked the Bacon Asparagus Roll} is a good idea, we think.

If you’re not too excited about the Japanese fare, you could opt for the Chinese and Thai noodle and rice boxes. There’s even a Nasi Goreng. The dim sums and the spring rolls are good for when you just want to munch and not really fill your tummy.

But whatever you do decide on, a bite of the Tempura Fried Ice Cream with Profiterole is a must.
