What Makes It Awesome

The products created by Then & Now are simply different, unique and outright vibrant. The product designs are utilitarian and are well finished. Each piece is treated as if it's a work of art - and their special hand-painted stuff are really artistic. You will find products with Gond, Madhubani, Warli, Sikki, Sanjhi, Kashmir and Mehndi art. The best part is they will customize things as per your requirement and wishes.

What's My Pro Tip?

The shop is located only five minutes away from Jor Bagh metro station. If you're driving there, it won't cost you time since ample parking space is available nearby. You may also opt to take a cab there.

Anything Else?

According to Uma Tewari, the brain behind Then & Now, the venture was born after seeing the plight of folk artisans at various melas and exhibitions. She started with one artist and a carpenter some seven years ago and now works with over 40 folk artists from Gondwana, Mithila, Mathura, Kashmir, Warli.

She wants to add many more folk art forms as she goes along. Apart from these she also has a great collection of dupattas, stoles and saris with weaves, blocks prints and embroiders from across the country. Since its a design studio, please call Uma Tewari {founder & owner} on +91-9910130306 before going there.
