Legends Barbeques

They do a buffet spread, along with a whole range of live counters which serve up everything from the Indian chaat that we all love, as well as slow-cooked mutton biryani, pastas according to your specifications and jalebi, freshly churned out. At their buffet, you'll be welcomed with a drink {non-alcoholic, don't get excited} and 12 starters and 8 main course options, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Their Brazilian churrasco is what we recommend; you can have either chicken or pineapple grilled.

New Town Cafe- Park Plaza

A buffet that's split into two, the latter being the 'Kids Corner', which offers up options from the bakery like nachos, as well as a host of treats like marshmallows, popcorn and softies. We know these sound like cavities on a plate, but Sunday is cheat day for everyone, right? The main buffet encompasses global cuisine, serving salads, cold-cuts, soup, as well as a live counter known for its chaat section. Their main course has both Indian and Oriental options; try their NTC {New Town Cafe} dal, it's a specialty. We also hear the herbed potato, or any of their potato preparations are excellent.

Maamouchee @ My Way

They don't host a traditional brunch, but they do have a 'family combo' on Sundays, for which you need to have a minimum party of four. This package features 3 courses, with 6 starters, 5 main courses and 2 desserts. Their cuisine consists of Indian, Continental and Lebanese. We recommend sampling their kebabs and the mezze platters, which they're known for.

The Ancient Barbeque

They do a combination of Indian and Chinese cuisine, with 12 starters, out of which 7 are vegetarian and the rest cater to the meat-lovers. They also have 2 soups, and a salad bar. The main course and the dessert bar have 8-10 options each to choose from. As the name suggests, don't leave without trying their kebabs.

Flluid- Mosaic Hotel

Their buffet includes alcohol {IMFL; you can get excited}, along with 2 starters, a salad bar with 8-10 salads, and about 10 main course options in Indian, Continental and Chinese. They do a mean dal and in the dessert options, their mousse is a must-have.

The Sports Box

For a casual, laid-back brunch, this is your best bet. They offer one with unlimited draught beer, and one without, so take your pick. Their joint is ideal for you to sample barbeque wings, chicken tikka and chilli potato. If you're looking for a more wholesome meal, the buffet has 4 starters, 4 main courses, along with accompaniments like rice and fresh rotis. Just in case draught beer isn't available, you'll have to settle for Tuborg, Fosters and Kingfisher.

The Culinary Court- Park Ascent

They'll start you off with their lassi, after which you can head to the buffet for a range of 8-10 salads and snacks, 4 starters and soups. The main course is extensive, spanning Indian, Oriental and Continental dishes. We recommend the live counters which whip up an assortment of chaat. They also have a reasonably priced bar, which isn't included in the buffet, but you won't burn a hole in your pocket in case you decide to have a cocktail or two.

Barbeque Nation

As we all know, this is a meat-lovers paradise. The kebabs are plentiful; there are options for vegetarians too, we promise! For the main meal {if you have any room after all those kebabs}, they have a range of 10 starters, 2 soups, 2 main courses as well as a host of desserts. They do a special Fiji mocktail for you to start with.
