What Makes It Awesome

In the few and rare trips I make to Gurgaon, I usually end up at DiGhent in Cross Point Mall. Last time around, basis a recommendation I found on LBB, I decided to drop into Cafe Shunya instead, and it was all kinds of wonderful. The food, decor, service, menu, all checks out. I'm neither vegan nor necessarily health conscious, but the menu and the food make the idea of eating healthy sound delightful.

They've got burgers, pizzas, a couple of options for breakfast including the fluffiest scrambled eggs I've had and vegan waffles. The drinks are the real winner. My hibiscus jaljeera was exactly what I needed on a hot summer day with 58% humidity, and their smoothies will fill you up.

I also loved their decor - their logo, illustrations on their menu, the tastefully designed space; very earthy yet modern.

Basically, an all-round winner in my opinion.

What Could Be Better?

The seating is limited in Cafe Shunya, with just about 10 seats, and a little spot with elevated floor seating that can accommodate another two comfortably.

What's My Pro Tip?

They have kombucha on their menu. {Yay!} The only other place I've found kombucha after Fig and Maple and Altitude Cafe.

Anything Else?

I carried home their ragi brownie. If you're used to big chill, you'll think it tastes like cardboard. So not everything on offer at Cafe Shunya is for everyone!
