# 1 The 90s High | Granulated sugar, rolled into the shape of a cigarette was the closest most of us got to an actual cigarette back in middle school. Can’t say we miss what Phantom tastes like, but we couldn’t run away from that {un}cool kid feeling of walking around, Phantom in hand.
# 2 Kickstart our morning | Yes, this is green juice. But don’t judge the drink by its colour! Chez Nini launched it’s breakfast menu, and as a part of it {and now, otherwise too} serves super duper delicious fresh juices. Whether you’re contemplating a cleanse, or are just looking for a refreshing way to begin your day, we highly recommend this.
# 3 Get Ol’ School Shady | We love vintage! And our most recent find for all things shady, vintage and awesome is Go Spiff, a new eyewear online/home retailing Facebook page, started by Mansi & Pritish. They source vintage and vintage inspired sunglasses & glasses from all over India. Next purchase- the glasses in the picture.
# 4 A Jar of Gourmet, Fruity Goodness | Foodies alert- Gourmet Jar opens shop in Shahpur Jat! This company’s been an LBBD favourite for lip-smacking jams. Personal favourites? Marmalade, dates and prunes, & Apple and rose jam. High tea, anyone?
# 5 Learning to Make it Stick | A dear friend and fellow entrepreneur recommended this book for anyone learning to work their business, building an identity and making ideas work and stick. Super read! Whether your business is young, new, old- pick this up.
# 6 Cycling around town- best way to see Delhi | We're all guns blazing and prepped and set for Delhi ByCycle+ LBBD's Lodhi Tour this Sunday! We're going to be cycling from CP through Paharganj, Lutyen's Delhi & back! If you didn't sign up for this, you're missing out on the ride of your life.
# 7 May the force be with you | Some friends {Flipside folks} were inaugurating their new project {Barsroom} and we happened to pop in at exactly the right time- pooja time! French jazz on the speakers, ladoos, coconut and black coffee was the prasad. We blessed each other, ourselves and the wished all the luck in the world for the new project, with Saraswati, Ganesha, and a little help from our Star Wars friends.
# 8 Sole for the Soul | Absolutely loved and devoured this pan seared sole at Le Bistro Du Parc! The bistro's becoming an LBBD favourite- with winter on the horizon, we're excited to spend countless afternoons in their open seating area.
# 9 SPJ Calling | We're pumped about the 3rd edition of Shahpur Jat's Open House, coming up this Sunday {20th October}! Here's more about what to expect and where to go. This labyrinth of awesomeness is going to see a lot more of LBBD, soon.
# 10 Shaadi Season Begins | It is the season of countless weddings, hours of traffic jams on Chattarpur road, and way too many OTT celebrations. We're happy to be a part of all the revelry- in costume! Upasana Jaipuria makes the most stunning suits- she's become a season favourite. One of our writers just bought this gorgeous ink blue, kanjivaram embroidered suit, and offset by a orange dupatta, from her.
