The Voting for Top Emerging Brands Award Is On & The Voting Lines Are On Fire! Did You Vote For Your Favourite Local Brands Yet?

LBB’s Top Emerging Brands Awards are running in full swing! Yes, you heard it right. After a successful run last year, we’re here yet again to put the spotlight on young & innovative brands across India. Yes, as India’s First Jury & Users’ Choice Awards, let’s identify and acknowledge unique local brands that are making a mark for themselves. 

Our list of Top 200 emerging brands looks and we can't lie! So, if you love trying out new local brands that have not left any stone unturned to give you products that fly more an other international brands, then lbb.in/awards should definitely be your go-to not only to vote but also to get many more such brands handy! 

This year, we’ve got a 4 prong process.

Part 1: Submission of nominations - We got a heart warming response on this which is why our top 200 look stellar

Part 2: Jury shortlist of Top 200 brands - The current nominations could only be possible because of our prestigious jury

Part 3: User Voting - This is on till December 26, you don't want to miss out on voting for your favourite local brand!

Part 4: Jury & User vote based announcement of Top 50 Emerging Brands! - The dates will be announced soon! 

The selection panel for TEBA 2019-20 boasts of some of India’s best creative talent. Together with user votes, our Jury will make an objective selection of India’s Top 50 Emerging Brands based pre-determined and well defined criteria.

- Sid Mathur: Director, Impressario

- Shereen Bhan: Anchor & Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18

Once you’ve nominated your favourite local brand(s), the top 200 nominations are carefully shortlisted by us on the basis of the criteria that will be followed by a voting process where you and the expert jury will select the top winners in each category. 

- Company should be registered by 2014 or after, so it should not be older than 5 years. 

- The brand should not be a part of a large business that has been a part of the market for a long time. 

- External funding is acceptable as far as the company is at the max five years old. 

- The price per product should be lesser than INR 10,000. For cafes, bars and bakeries, the price per meal for two should not be more than INR 2,500. 

- The brand can cater to any segment of the market across India

-  One user can only vote for one brand per category.
