Wolfgang & Co: European-Style Dining For Alphas

Shortcut

What originally started as a ‘secret society for alphas’ now caters to the generic Delhi sensibilities. The ambience is great, but do not expect the food to be always phenomenal {and the music can get really random at times, too}.

Chow Down

Quesadilla de Pollo, Mushroom Galouti

Sip On

Old Fashioned, Spiced Jamun

Winning For

The area is designed well with a judicious use of wood, and is even lit up to complete the old European-bar look. Music isn’t too loud here and allows you to hold a good conversation while eating {though some of the songs on their playlist sound like the sound samples on your synthesiser}.

The space also has a dedicated area for live performances and sessions.

Choose Wisely

We say that because while there is a lot that the menu offers, many of their offerings end up tasting pretty much the same. Certain cuisines might not really be original {they are more suited to Delhi sensibilities}, others really deliver in terms of taste and portions. We tried quite a few offerings and absolutely loved the Quesadilla de Pollo and the Mushroom Galouti.

The mocktails were decent, and the bartender was up for a little customisation. One can skip the Mezze Platter and their selection of shakes, as they really aren’t their best.

Out of the drinks selection that they have, the Old Fashioned and Spiced Jamun were our favourites. While the Old Fashioned takes a classic favourite and gives it a more potent kick, the Spiced Jamun is a virgin drink with a sweet and tangy tinge to it.

The desserts here are definitely worth a try, and the magic chocolate cake will surely be your favourite for the salted caramel and raisins in it.

So, We’re Thinking…

Try this one out on your next visit to CP, and we assure that you’ll go back home content.
