Work, Drink & Make Merry | Creative Pow Wow

The information in this post might be outdated

50 creative thinkers. One common workspace. A day of work, conversations, collaborative projects, music and more.

LBB, The Coalition and Hauz Khas Social came together to solve a problem - where can one meet interesting people, up to creative work, in Delhi? Through a simple registration, we brought together over 25 teams to work out of one space. What followed was a day spent in meeting, speaking to and getting to know an array of super innovative companies; including design studio Turmeric Design, design curators Qreoh, web-designer company Miranj, filmmakers Lumos Films, tech companies GetFBPay.in and L Square Tech, accelerators India Internet Group and Investopad, Social Enterprises Music Basti, Think Social and Sewing New futures, sustainable F & B startups I Say Organic and Anamcaara, education & tech platform ReviewEdu, fashion house Bhane, architects-cum-city guides Delhi Dallying, content site The Scribbler, furniture designers Studio Wood Collective, designers from LinkedIn, PR group Zeno, fitness app Fitnut, stationery house Rubberband and of course, the crew at LBB, TC & HKS.

To keep the creativity flowing and work going, the day was packed with free-flowing cutting chai and coffee, a DIY burger bar for lunch, and a Pow-Wow Challenge in the evening. For the challenge, the CPW crew was divided into groups, and each group was given a unique Delhi challenge to solve. From how to monitor trolls trashing restaurants on Facebook/Zomato, to tools to discover urban villages in Delhi, how to reduce wastage from home-delivery packaging, and how to create tools to make creative people meet in Delhi - the groups came up with some awesome and hilarious solutions for these challenges in under an hour {more of this action in the video}! The day ended with Budweiser, and a beautiful acoustic performance by Dhruv Visvanath.

A big thankyou to Rubberband, who set up a station with their stationery and notebooks collection, and for giving out notebooks to each of the participants. Gifts and goodies were also brought in by Postergully.com {check out their mugs here}, T Cakes {who sent cupcakes and breads for the crew}, Bhane {who brought scarves and accessories for everybody} and Farm Love {ace basil lemonade, courtesy them}.

Creative Pow Wow was held on the 8th of August, at Hauz Khas Social. Find out more, here
