What Is It?
It’s a workshop that’ll end all your curiosity about herbs and how to utilise them accurately. This workshop will tell you everything, from taking these aromatic plants from seed to spoon to the stomach! Here’s another one to help you start your 2017 on a very healthy note.
Who Is It For?
It’s for all herb enthusiasts out there who love growing and experimenting with different herbs. It’s also for folks who love eating healthy and want to inculcate something new and fresh in their diet.
You would also love this workshop if you love gardening in general.
Why Should I Go For It?
This workshop is one of a kind. It’ll take you through an entire process of designing, setting up and maintaining an herb garden. Be it rosemary, thyme, basil, sage or oregano; all herbs will be covered and talked about.
The workshop also entails a hands-on cooking session and using different cooked herbs in pestos, herb-infused oils and other delightful herby things! Oh, and since summer is around the corner and mosquitoes love us, this workshop will also teach you how to use herbs as the best mosquito repellent. You definitely gotta register for this one!
The workshop is facilitated by Kapil Mandawewala, who started farming on his 20 acre organic farm in Gujarat about eight years ago. He’s also the founder of Edible Routes, an initiative that spreads awareness on healthy, nutritious and fresh organic food.
Do carry a small container with you whene you go for the workshop so that you can carry back some pesto you make! Check the event out here.
