If you haven’t spent in Christmas in Goa, you’ve seriously missed out. The carols in the air, old bakeries decked up in stars and fairy lights, churches getting ready for mass and cake, pop-up markets and roasts and boozy turkey dinners everywhere… But if you’re anything like us, you’ll want to squeeze in at least one special Christmas meal. So, here you go. Take your pick. Thank us later.

Toro Toro's Garden Lunch

This beauty by the creek has an all-you-can-eat buffet and Christmas roast for INR 1,500. You get to sample famous chef Rohan DSouza’s scrumptious BBQ grills, tropical cocktails and multiple rounds of appetisers all through the day. There’s also live music and Simba beer!

When: Dec 25 (noon onwards)

House Of Lloyds Christmas BBQ

This epic seafood hub is firing up the grill for the festivities. They’ve decked up the place in mistletoes and promise a whole lot of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Get clicked with their Christmas tree after you’re done enjoying that indulgent drunch. Pork chops and beef steaks, we’ll see you around!

When: Dec 25 (noon — 3pm)

7 Short 1 Long

This nautical-themed, ever-so-homely restaurant is one of the most underrated places in North Goa. If you dig warm hospitality and comfort food, their Christmas menu looks amaze. At INR 1,399 they’ve got quite a feast to welcome you. Think everything including traditional roast stuffed chicken, mushroom pate, pork sorpotel, honey garlic meatballs, homemade Irish cream and mac and cheese christmas bake. YUM.

Tip: This quaint spot in Moira is well-loved. So, reserve your table beforehand.

When: Dec 25 (7pm onwards)

Taj Fort Aguada's Poolside Dinner

Nothing needs to be said about how beautiful this Taj property is. So, if you want to witness some great hospitality coupled with Christmas turkey, suckling pig, pudding and champagne, opt for their alcoholic package (because you’re in Goa) at INR 3K (plus taxes).

When: Dec 24 (7:30pm — 10:30pm)

Casa Playa's Xmas lunch

It’ll be an afternoon of sangrias and a specially curated Xmas menu at Casa Playa. You can call and pre-order their roast chicken and if you happen to land up for lunch but don’t want to leave before dinner, they’ve got some drinks deals that can be availed 7pm onwards. Who else wants a Christmas lunch to run into dinner?

Indah Desa's Christmas Meal

If you’re in South Goa and craving a lavish, festive feast by the beach, take our suggestion and head to Indah. They’ve got it all worked out from a welcome cocktail to a parting coffee. Down to the yummiest dessert (coming to get you, sticky toffee pudding and raspberry and elderflower jelly). Other things on the menu include red snapper ceviche, roasted pork loin, mushroom wellington, sweet potato gnocchi, lobster and crab ravioli, and roasted chicken with seasonal veggies. Taj Holiday Village Resort's Christmas Eve Dinner

Sunset Deck at Taj Holiday Village Resort & Spa is a great place to be if you’re staying around Candolim. They’ve got their traditional Christmas buffet, carols and a glass of sparkling wine starting at INR 2.5k.
