It is International Blues Day on August 5, and now, Art Escape & The Live Music Project are also celebrating it in Goa on August 6 at the well-known shack Zeebop.

Zeebop by the Sea in Uttorda is the place to catch some legendary blues musicians from Goa and across the country celebrate the International Blues Day. This is the fifth edition and they are paying a tribute to the late Herman Pereira, a well-known blues guitarist from Mumbai/Goa who was also known as the Jimi Hendrix of India.
Who Is This For?
The line up will feature the Goa Blues Collective which includes Goa’s top Blues man Herman Abreo, Shayne Ballantyne the new generation Blues guitarist along with the legendary bass player Lew Hilt from Kolkatta and Mumbai’s top drummer Vivek Philip. The next band will be Demokracy with Vamsee Krishna on vocals, Lester Godinho on drums & Jason Quadros on keyboards.
Lastly there will be Shanon Pereira a lead guitarist from Mumbai who is also the nephew of Herman Pereira as well as many other surprise artists and Blues musicians jamming in. Kicking off at 6pm with a nominal INR 300 per person entry fee, the evening will be a night that is guaranteed to take your blues away.
