What's Happening

Every year, for almost a decade, the GTDC (Goa Tourism Development Corporation) has been hosting the Grape Escapade Festival to celebrate the wine culture in Goa. This four-day fest, from Feb 28-March 4 will take over the DB Bandodkar Grounds in Campal.

With live music, grape stomping, wine tasting sessions, the most awaited Grape Escapade queen contest, food stalls and more fun activities, make sure you squeeze in a trip to Panjim this weekend. Try the many notes and new flavours on offer or interact with some of the best wine companies in the business, this one’s as much of a revelry as it is an opportunity to network.

How's The Venue

While the festival isn’t big on crazy, festival decor, it helps that the stalls are all out in the open and there’s the sea breeze to keep things cool. Expect the ground to come to life and roads around Campal to get packed as this is one of Goa’s bigger festivals and pretty popular. Braving the traffic, however, will be worth your while for you’ll meet so many restaurants, brands and wine connoisseurs talking all things red, white and rose.
