What Makes It Awesome

Now, who can resist a bit of sunshine and greens that remind you of the Himalayas? Mojigao is a hidden gem of a cafe that almost convinces you that you're in the hills. Finding my way was a little tricky but with the help of a few locals, I reached before sunset only to fall a bit in love with the space that's full of giant trees, chirping birds, rocky unfinished pathway, and a doggo. Super laidback! With a bookshelf housing books by Murakami, Wodehouse along with Hardy Boys, all one needs is a cup of coffee to while their time away. That's precisely what I did, but I asked for a Pineapple and Ginger Kombucha and a cheese platter. After a really long day, I thought the Kombucha super refreshing and the homemade cheese platter got me licking my fingers (can't help sounding cliche but it was that good), and the pickled vegetables and freshly baked bread got the famished me polishing off every single bit. They've got more Lebanese dishes, though. If you happen to find yourself in and around Assagao, and want a slice of hills in a coastal area, get to Mojigao.
