What's Happening

Bidar is a city full of amazing monuments located in Karnataka. Drenched in Islamic Indian history, this old-walled town was first the capital of the Bahmani kingdom (1428–87) and later the capital of the Barid Shahi dynasty. So, if you are passionate about learning interesting facts about this place, Road Trips Co (RTC) is organising a short trip on January 5. Here, you will get to explore the 500-year-old fort, visit the Bahmani Tombs, see the vast flora and fauna, meet like-minded people and much more.

You have to reach the meet up point (Indian Oil Petrol Pump, near Miyaur Metro Station) by 6 am. The convoy will depart by 7 am and around 9 am, it will halt for breakfast. By 10 am, you will reach the Bidar fort. At 1 pm, lunch will be provided and in an hour, RTC will start for Hyderabad and will reach by 5 pm.

PS: The registration fee includes breakfast, entry tickets (wherever required) and assistance.

How's The Venue

Bidar has marked itself as a much visit tourist destination for all history lovers. The city boasts of its 500 years old fort and the Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib Gurudwara which is an important pilgrimage site for Sikhs. It also has the Bahmani Tombs which were built to house the remains of the Sultans. Located in the hilltop city in the north-eastern part of Karnataka, this place was one of the most flourishing cities in South India, especially between the 11th and 16th centuries.
