The Arabian Village - One of the best Mandi offerings in Somajiguda area. The Arabian village, Located above eagle boys pizza is a relatively new eatery which has amazing food I thought to give this one a try. Although Mandi is quite a popular dish all through Hyderabad, for the ones who do not know about it yet, it's a rice dish originating from the Middle East, particularly Yemen. Unlike Biryani, rice is cooked separately and the meat is done separately, that too mostly in Tandoor. One stark difference between the two would be that Mandi is much more subtle as it has fewer spices. The place itself is a compact establishment and so has a small dining area, able to support at max 40/45 diners. The place has outdoor seating as well.
Coming to the food now, I went in for dinner with my friends wherein my order included :
Cream of chicken= Rs. 149
Arabian mixed platter(Arabian fish, Arabian Chopan, Arabian Faham, BBQ chicken, sheesh kebab) =Rs. 1199 Value For Money Must Try
Mutton mandi (full)=Rs. 599 Must Try.
Penne chicken pasta with pink sauce=Rs. 249
Creamy cheese pizza (8 inches)=Rs. 99
Grilled fish with tomato chilly sauce =Rs. 329 Must Try
Arabian sheerkurma=Rs. 99 Must Try.
The Arabian platter is the total value for money and the best part is sheer kurma which exactly tastes like homemade. Everything which we tried was just amazing this I must visit the place.
