Summer is here and we all can feel the sun burning down our necks every day. And no summer is complete without Rooh Afza. But, it’s time to give a break to the usual Rooh Afza and try it with a twist with these recipes.

Rooh Afza Popsicle

If you want to beat the heat, make Rooh Afza popsicles. You just have to mix Rooh Afza syrup with water and freeze it. Yup, that's it! The recipe is refreshing and hydrating and it can make anyone's mouth water.

Roof Afza Firni

Impress your family by making your own version of firni. All you need is almonds, cardamom, milk, pistachio, rice and Rooh Afza syrup. Steps to follow? Just wash and soak rice in water for an hour. Then, blend the rice with milk and pour the rice mixture in a pan and cook it. Put the remaining milk and sugar in a pan and bring it to boil over medium heat for five minutes. Add the Rooh Afza syrup and mix well. Add chopped cardamom and keep stirring it. Turn off the heat and let the firni cool. Sprinkle sliced almonds and pistachios on the top and serve it.

Rooh Afza Falooda

There is so much in one glass of falooda that it doesn’t just fill up the tummy but fills up the soul too! For making this one, the key ingredients are sabja seeds (basil seeds) or chia seeds, vermicelli (falooda sev), sweetened milk, rose syrup, and ice cream. So all you have to do here is replace the rose syrup with Rooh Afza. So how do you proceed? Cover chia seeds/basil seeds in water, and let them soak for 30 minutes to an hour. In the meantime, prepare the vermicelli according to package instructions, except when it’s done, immediately drain and rinse with cold water. Cut them into pieces.

Take a glass and pour one tablespoon of Rooh Afza. Add enough vermicelli to make an inch of height. Then place a tablespoon of the soaked basil or chia seeds. Pour sweetened milk but make sure there’s enough room in the top for a scoop of ice cream. Add a scoop of ice cream and sprinkle some pistachios over the top.

Rooh Afza Lassi

If you want to make yourself an afternoon refreshing drink, this recipe is apt for you. You'll need curd, chilled milk, water, powdered sugar, Rooh Afza syrup, and mint leaves for garnishing. Just mix them all. Blend in curd, milk, water, and sugar in a blender. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk or water if you find it very thick. Add Rooh Afza. The preparation time for this is less than 10 minutes.

Rooh Afza Mojito

This virgin mocktail can be served as a great refreshment drink. All you need is mint, Roof Afza syrup, lemons and you are good to go. Take a glass and pour around one teaspoon of lemon juice. Put around 5 to 6 mint leaves, a few lemon slices, salt (as per taste) and mash it well with a spoon. Pour around one tablespoon of Rooh Afza. Fill half the glass with ice cubes and pour in Sprite. Your Rooh Afza mojito is ready!
