The information in this post might be outdated

Listen up, folks! It’s time to wave goodbye to filthy and foul public washrooms for the GHMC is planning to set up Free Smart Integrated Washrooms {FSIW} in the city. These washrooms will apparently provide basic amenities {one washroom each for men, women and persons with disabilities} and have features like Wifi, cafe, solar roofing, ATM facilities, diaper changing station, sanitary napkin vending machine, incinerator, and bio digester. It is speculated that in its first phase, GHMC will set up as many as 25 FSIW in Serilingampally zone which covers Yousufguda, Chandanagar, Serilingampally and Ramchandrapuram circles. These washrooms are going to be at par with the recently launched Loo Cafe near Shilparamam, and also make money via the sale of coffee, tea and snacks. These FSIWs are supposedly going to be traveller-friendly too, where travellers can take a quick shower as well as safely deposit their luggage for a day. We never thought we’d get excited about loos, but turns our we were wrong, for we really are looking forward to these!
