A professional food taster, Sophia Ranjani moved here from Chennai two years ago. She is not exaggerating when she tells us how Hyderabad is a foodie's paradise (Especially if you're a non-vegetarian). Tasting haleem for the first time here, it was love at first bite for her. Some of her other regional favourites are Irani Chai, Osmania Biscuits, Mandi, Mirchi Ka Salan and falooda around Charminar, and Qubbani Ka Meetha and Double Ka Meetha for desserts, of course! Hyderabad, she says, is a melting pot of all cultures and diverse backgrounds so it is rare to feel like a fish out of the pond, and the cost of living is affordable making it a city well loved.
