Artwords by Surge finds inspiration in nature, colours and poetry. It's a beautiful blend of art by Amrita Gvalani and poetry by Sai Kumar Chandran. Amrita believes that she was born to paint and that nature is a 'profound teacher' - something that reflects in her designs as well - while Sai's words reflect his experience of working with different kinds of people and the impact that has left on him.
The product range includes wooden coasters, journals, bookmarks, mosaics, wooden and hardboard jigsaw puzzles, ceramic mugs and plates, mirrors, wallpapers and gifting solutions like envelopes, gift tags and cards. My personal favourites? Definitely the coasters, bookmarks and journals.
The coasters are made of MDF wood - Amrita draws the illustrations (using ink and watercolour) by hand and then transfers them on to the material to create stunning pieces sure to quirk up any setting. The bookmarks are also hand drawn art while a lot of her mosaics are designed using beads.
