Shortcut

Koshe Kosha has just launched their new breakfast menu and it’ll have you drooling {and everything is under INR 120}!

Breakfast For Kings

Ditch the waffles and eggs – this is the breakfast menu you’ve been waiting for. Bengali breakfast complete with fluffy luchis, spicy kosha, crunchy toast, maakhon, and lots more. The toast comes with a generous layer of garlic-butter spread over it. If you want, ask for more bread or luchi and there’ll be a surprise in store for you.

Up for a little morning pre-office indulgence? Our absolute favourite is the toast aar kimar jhuri {for INR 120 – one of the two menu items over INR 100}. Crunchy toast served with minced mutton that has been crispy fried, it’ll get you very happy on a Monday morning. Layer the kima between the toast and have the yummiest meaty sandwich. The Baked Paratha {a signature soft pliable paratha served through the day in Koshe Kosha} and Dim Kosha is another spicy flavourful brekkie option.

A veggie favourite is the Kachuri and Alur Dum – for just INR 85 get giant low-on-oil kachuris with a spicy power-packed and flavour aloo dum.

Healthy Is Happy

For the healthies souls, the alu chechki, rongeen mejaji toast {made colourful with a bunch of veggies} and the chhanar bhorta {you won’t be able to tell you’re eating chana, it looks and tastes a lot like scrambled egg without all the cholesterol!}.

The breakfasts are actually well-balanced – enough carb to get you through the morning, perfectly portioned for one person and packed with proteins.

Anything Else?

If you eat at Koshe Kosha at any time of the day {lunch or dinner}, at the bottom of your bill you’ll notice it mentions that if you head there for breakfast by noon the following day, you’ll get a 20% discount on your bill.

All the items except two are under INR 100. The breakfast is only available at the Dalhousie outlet between 9 am and noon for now. The restaurant is closed on Sundays so you can only go on Monday through Saturday.
