Tell Me More
This is a great way to use up your free hours or, just give the chef in you a chance, if you love cooking and are up for learning more.
Abhilasha has no fixed routine for workshops and conducts one, whenever there’s a demand from friends or people from several food groups that she’s a part of. It could be one on fondant cakes, or cupcakes or a general one on baking.
You must sign up for the next workshop {at Cafe 4/1 on May 5}. It is a special one called Breaditation and includes a unique combination of bread making and meditation.
Keep tabs on her Facebook page for details.
Anything Else?
She has held a workshop in Amsterdam, teaching the chefs there the recipes of Indian street food.
Abhilasha, a food consultant, was amongst the top 10 finalists of Masterchef India in 2016 {and that too, by only making vegetarian dishes!} She is also the winner of National Hyatt Culinary Challenge, 2015.
If all that’s not enough for you, let me tell you that this stern woman actually took a resolution in 2016 to cook a new vegetarian dish everyday for 365 days, even while in the Masterchef competition. Check out her Instagram @abhiscoolbook.
