With summers coming to roost for the next few months, what everyone needs in their wardrobe is lots of pure cotton stuff. Our latest find Koza is a standalone ethnicwear store that stocks kurtas, blouses and saress in cool prints and appliques.

Mirrorwork To Patchwork

Koza, situated very close to Dolna school in Kasba, is the brainchild of former banker Sudeshna Dasgupta {she worked behind a desk for nine long years till she finally decided to quit her job and follow her heart}. Having done a correspondence course from renowned designer school NIFT, she opened her very own boutique in the ground floor of a house in 2014. First off, browse the range of blouses — from woven motifs to dainty patchwork and beautiful mirrorwork, she has a huge range {starting from INR 700}.

You can pick up a couple of innovative khaki cotton kurtas for summer here, like this grey kurta dress with a layer of white cloth cut in a high low style covering the front {INR 2,300}. She also does cotton shrugs, both short and long. Style them with funky silver jewellery and you’re good for an evening out. Her signature pieces include chiffon sarees with special batik work {from INR 4,000}.

The best part? You can customise every design according to your size and preference.
