What's Happening

The 2.5 stroke tip you picked up from Debjani's blog actually got you the perfect taka luchi, and Madhushree's apple jalebi fetched you so many appreciative pats that now guests look forward to this every time they drop by. The recipes and tips have made you an ardent follower, but things aren't too bad if you're a noob, either.

Ace food bloggers and culinary chroniclers, Debjani Chatterjee Alam and Madhushree Basu Roy are taking it up a notch and are all set to wow you not only with their recipes and tips but also with their cooking.

Come December 16, these ladies are opening their doors to host you for a food pop-up and feed you their best dishes. The menu is extensive and has already got us drooling! Lost recipes to heirloom ones and also winter faves - it promises to be an indulgent treat in a very Bengali way (flavours, food, and hospitality)!

It's no mean spread we're talking of because it starts with bharer cha (tea in a clay cup), the famous taka luchi with notun alur dum and proceeds to delectable creations such as the winter special sobji diye dal, kakrar jhal, phulkopir roast, niramish mangsho, parshe macher jhal, and so much more! And to round it off, there's the forever fave plastic chutney (raw papaya chutney) and ranga alur roshopuli.

So, wait no more and RSVP your seat right away for a perfect winter afternoon spent with good company and great food!
