Mayonnaise. The saviour of all savoury snacks, fast food cravings, and food that isn’t made as perfectly as it should be. Luckily for us, the world's best mayonnaise brand just launched in Kolkata- and what a bash the launch of Hellmann’s was! Celebrity chef Shaun Kenworthy along with Tollywood actors Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Priyanka Sarkar and Mir Afsar Ali were invited to launch the product. All of them enjoyed a cheat day on their diet as they couldn’t resist gorging on this delicious vegetarian (so it’s for all of us!) Mayonnaise. A life size Hellmann’s Mayonnaise bottle was probably the most exciting part of the event, and had everyone rushing to the counters to grab bites of shredded chicken tikka, crumb-fried fish, jerk paneer, crumb-fried veggie burgers and sandwiches with delicious spoonfuls of Mayonnaise dips.
As if that didn’t sound good enough, there was a part of the launch that we loved even more – the Hellmann’s Express! A specially designed tram with the Hellman’s graffiti, the Hellmann’s Express symbolized one of the most iconic markers of Kolkata. The Hellmann’s Express slowly made its way across the city streets and took the celebrities and invitees on a ride to remember, while Shaun served everyone with five specially curated lip smacking dishes. We won’t forget the amazing Hellmann’s stationary selfie food truck and the food counter where special dishes were served to the guests with a twist of Hellman’s mayonnaise added to it.
