Get your dose of amazing fusion food at Hola, the newest culinary addition to Southern Avenue’s long list of eating places.

Chow Down, Sip On

Tandoori kababs with continental marination? Pork ribs but toasted, not grilled or fried? Baos with lotus stem flour? Count us in! Hola has something for everyone — be it desi classics like masala kulcha and dal makhani, or continental-desi fusion foods.

Right from the menu, which is not only well curated, but also takes special care to present to you very unique flavors in whichever dish they serve. Their vegetarian dishes are as innovative and tasty as their non-vegetarian dishes. We loved the veg manchow at just INR 175+ {also available in the non-vegetarian variant} which is a bowlful of warm soup with a warm dumpling inside. For INR 375 each, we also loved their mushroom teriyaki bao, their Hola special kebabs {we strongly recommend this one!} and golden fried prawns with pumpkin puree which is one of the best preparations of prawn we have had yet {INR 475}.

Their mocktails are also fusion-based, tangy and refreshing — do try their Guavatini. They serve cocktails too in similar preparations, but alcohol is served on weekends only.Hola believes in personalised experiences — so if there’s any dish where you want {for instance}, prawns to be replaced by chicken, or say sriracha sauce to be replaced with barbeque sauce, or any ingredient you want added or replaced, all you need to do is ask. The chefs will try their best to give you each dish exactly how you want it.

What Did We Love?

Their fine dining session has private booths with snug couches which extend to the ceiling; and a private TV in each booth — so you don’t have to miss your movie nights or compromise on a good meal. The casual seating has huge window panes which we loved because you can always indulge in some people watching along the beautiful Southern Avenue.

Anything Else?

Hola also has a corporate lunch platter for INR 400 where you get one starter, two keema or masala kulchas with a chicken/veg side, dal makhani and raita, along with one dessert. Corporate or not, this package is a steal deal for everyone! Apart from food, they also have regular live musical acts, think Bollywood Sufi nights, or original indie bands.
